New Capability For Affiliate Farm-Out Drivers To Update Trip Status and Mark Time Stamps
Fastttrak has a new capability to send affiliate farm out drivers a text message that contains a trip specific link that can be used by the driver to update trip status changes and mark time stamps. The updates to our dispatch screen and passenger notifications will occur the same as if one of our drivers did the trip using the Fasttrak driver app. See figure below for example. The on location status and en route and on location time stamps were filled in automatically when the affiliate driver accessed and used the link. No action was necessary on our part during the trip.
Some requirements for this function to work properly:
- Affiliate profile settings must be updated to turn on this capability. See figure below.
- Driver name and phone number must be added to the affiliate profile and assigned as the driver for the trip. See figures below.
- Text will be sent to the driver when trip status is updated to driver confirmed. The format of the text is shown in figure below. You can use zipwhip to verify the text.
