WHEN TO USE
1. Fixed Zone Pricing is to be used when it is available.
2. It does not add the AM/PM fee. If the reservation is between Midnight and 6:30 AM, an additional cost of $15 must be manually applied to the reservation in the Rate Field.
Times are driver garage to garage, not P/U or D/O time. NO AM/PM fee is ever charged to Carey or Savoya.
3.When the reservation is an Airport Run, the Fixed Zone Rate will add Parking automatically.
When it is a Carey Reservation, the system automatically applies $6 fee for Arrivals and Departures, Carey is charged for both. For an hourly that originates at the airport and ends at the airport, we charge $12.
4. The system will input the Est. hours in for you. NEVER change it.
It can be misleading when we charge 4.5 hours for trips but, it says 5 hours. Still, NEVER change it.
When NOT to use Fixed Zone Pricing
We do not use Fixed Zone pricing when we are booking an hourly job.
1. For the EST. hours put the amount of time the passenger will be in the Vehicle.
2. The Min Field will auto populate with the standard for the vehicle type. When doing a point to point reservation, even if the time will take less than the minimum number of hours you are to
leave it set to what was auto populated. You can change it, with approval, if we are offering the customer a lower minimum.
3. When a reservation starts or ends outside of our Area, We charge travel time. If the reservation calls for travel time, enter the number of hours in the Travel Time box.
No Travel Time
The vehicle is only being used for 1 hour. We still charge the Minimum Number of Hours.
The SUV is being used for 10 hours.
With Travel Time
The reservation starts in Richmond but, ends in DC. You will need to add the time it takes for the driver to get back to Richmond fro DC.
This reservation starts and ends in Petersburg. We charge an additional half hour with a p/u or d/o in Petersburg. The total for both a p/u and d/o is an hour.
